Valentine’s Day counts
We remember our Senior Citizens on Valentine’s Day.
We visit Senior Care Facilities on or around February 14th every year. Some folks have been collecting for a while.

Dictionaries for 3rd Graders
Along with other Rotary Clubs, we make sure every 3rd grader in the San Ramon Valley School District receives their very own dictionary.
Yes, computers are great, but there is still nothing like a book. Just ask these 3rd graders from Golden View School, Quail Run, Green Valley and Montevideo.

Bill Gregory Scholarship
In 2008, San Ramon Valley Rotary Club formed the Bill Gregory Scholarship fund in honor of its founder Bill Gregory. who passed away. The scholarship was formed to continue Bills legacy by providing for students who show an extraordinary effort in community service and who have a real need for a scholarship. Each year, in April we provide a questionnaire and application to each of the school’s in the nearby area San Ramon Valley, Venture, Cal High and Monte Vista. We typically select between 3-4 students to be honored with the scholarship with each student receiving equal amounts between $1000-2,000. During the interview process the project is a team effort of approximately 8-12 members of San Ramon Valley Rotary Club.

One Warm Coat Drive
During the Christmas Holiday season our club collects coats, sweaters, blankets, etc. for distribution to the homeless both in the Bay Area and internationally. Each year we collect thousands of those items for those in need.
