One Warm Coat 2023

One Warm Coat is the signature community service project for our Rotary Club. This is our 28th Anniversary of the One Warm Coat drive. From 55 pieces gathered in a garage 28 years ago, it grew to 14,000 pieces collected. Charities and outreach organizations are counting on us this year more than ever! Thousands of items are collected each year and distributed to charities such as Christmas for Everyone. Bishop Ranch supports this project every year by giving us a warehouse space to house and sort the many bags collected. We appreciate also the support of  the Alamo women’s Club, they organize a big drop off every November. It has been and continues to be a labor of love for our Rotary Club. We appreciate the support we receive from all of the generous businesses, schools, libraries, police and fire stations in our community that have, for 28 years, put out the boxes for collection. This project is one that touches many and we could not do it without the support of everyone involved.
